I would like to buy a log of wood for a design project. It would have to be about twice the size of a telegraph pole (the wooden British type) be available,be around 1 and a half times a person's height (the ergonomics haven't been finalised so if its one and a half times your size that should be fine) be wood from a tree (by this I mean not MDF or anything like Wood chip) and be reasonably cheap, (obviously a log of oak's not going to be dirt cheap but I would like something that isn't going to cost an absolute bomb.)
