Importing AVI video files, either from popular digital camcorder, Flip video camcorder, or other sources, to Apple iMovie on Mac can be a painful experience for many mac computer users.
Software Needed:
* AVI to iMovie Converter for Mac ( Free Download )
* iMovie (iMovie HD, iMovie 07, iMovie 08, iMovie 09)
1, Import AVI files to iMedia Converter
Drag & drop AVI files to the software. Or select "Add Video Files" option from "File" menu to load the AVI files you want to convert.
2, Select optimized presets for iMovie
Select "iLife->iMovie Video MPEG-4(*.mp4)" from output format list, the preset is the optimized settings for iMovie.
3, Start AVI to iMovie video conversion
Click "Convert" button and this Mac iMedia Converter will convert your AVI and the output file is ready for being imported to Apple iMovie.
4, Import converted AVI files to iMovie
