Sızan bu sürüm M1 arkadaşlar, 2010'un 9. ayında derlenmiş, W7'nin devamı niteliğinde. Henüz çekirdek sürümü dahi atlamamış, 7 ile aynı (6.1). Windows 8 şu anda M3 aşamasında, yani bu sızdırılan derlemeden çok daha ileri bir aşamada. M3 sızar mı bilinmez, yaz döneminde zaten Beta aşamasına geçecek Windows 8. Kısaca zamanı olanın deneyebileceği, ancak kesinlikle son kullanıcı açısından önemsiz bir sürüm.
